Linda Klotzbach

Hi, I’m Linda.
Nice to see you here.

From early on in my design path, I wanted to contribute to topics that matter to society, and to bring in the human side of things.

Linda Klotzbach, photographed against a pale brick wall: short fair hair swept up, a dark blue corduroy shirt, turned slightly to the camera and smiling.

I have done that in an education startup, inside an Irish hospital, while leading a design community, and now at DigitalService des Bundes in Berlin.

Curiosity is my main driver. What I have seen and felt myself is far easier to relate to than what I read in a report, so my superpower is that I go and observe, ask questions and synthesise. My most helpful and most loved tools are maps. That’s why I map current and future states of journeys and systems in a structured and systematic way, until I condense my findings to the main message, visible to everyone involved.

What good service design means to me

#1

Services are quickly available to everyone who needs to reach them.

#2

Services support people in their individual needs at any given point in their journey.

#3

Services are built on non-siloed communication between providers of that service.
